According to the Bulgarian legislation foreign individuals are allowed to purchase real estate on the territory of the country but there are some restrictions.

Speaking about apartments, both foreign individuals and foreign legal entities can buy an apartment in Bulgaria. Together with apartment the so called «ideal part» of the land plot under the apartment building is registered as the one which goes with your apartment. Usually it makes 0,3 – 5 square meter.

The legislation does not forbid to register a firm to the address of your apartment and to use it as an office. Foreign apartment owners have the same rights as the citizens of Bulgaria including the right to let it. Read the rest of this entry »
