There are no restrictions upon foreigners buying property in Montenegro, be it an apartment, house or a ruin on some land. Foreigners cannot however purchase bare land, but in this instance you will have to register a company in Montenegro and then apply to the Ministry of Finance to approve your purchase. The procedure of establishing a company and purchasing land can be obtained from local solicitors; we can provide you with contact details of English speaking solicitors.
