English Mansions Prices Match Moscow Apartments Prices

The prices for private houses in Great Britain in 2006 have risen for 9 percent, informs BBC News referring to UK Land Registry quarterly report. Today the average cost of an English mansion makes 211,5 thousand or 402,5 thousand dollars. The same sum allows purchasing a 2-roomed apartment with 6-meter kitchen on Noviy Arbat (the street in Moscow downtown).
Traditionally highest prices are established by owners of private residences in prestigious London areas Kensington and Chelsea. Houses in these areas cost 942 thousand pounds or 1,8 million dollars.
The highest prices outside of London are in a county Surrey, Southern England. Here average cost of the house makes 351 thousand pounds or 668,3 thousand dollars.
